Service in the Community

One of Tom's passions besides decorative painting is his Corvette. Since 1997, he has been a active member of the Lancaster County Corvette Club. Tom has served on their Executive Board as Newsletter Editor for over 9 years. Since LCCC inception in 1978, it's been the mission to raise funds for local charities. Over $260,000 has been raised through events such as car shows, high and low speed driving events, parades and raffling a new Corvettes with profits going to our local charities.

In September 2006, Tom Henman was featured in the Decorator Show House at Lime Spring Farm in Lancaster, PA. Working with Interior Designer, Ralph Myers of Old Towne Interiors, they transformed a 1950's farm house dining room into a warm sophisticated space. The show house was open to visitors for a month with all the proceeds benefitting cancer care and treatment at Lancaster General Hospital.

On November 16, 2007, the Milagro House of Lancaster, PA held it's annual fundraiser at the Lancaster County Country Club. The Milagro House is a long-term, education-based program committed to restoring the lives of homeless women and children. Tom donated a hand painted game table along with a $1,000 discount to their auction which brought in over $92,000 at nights end.
